WPO - About us

Originally an acronym for Wind Prospect Operations, the three letters of our current name, simply “WPO”, continue to proudly recall our pioneering roots. In addition, they also refer to strong constitutive elements of who we are and our mission: “W” refers to “world”, which is the center of our action and our raison d’être. We sincerely believe that the essence of our work is to help make the world a better place by delivering reliable, clean and renewable energy. And “PO” are the first letters of “positive”, which is reflected in our motto “WPO: in the business of positive energy”.
